YOD Gallery is pleased to present SangSun Bae's solo exhibition,“Echoes of Renewal”.

 

How do memories and emotions take shape and move toward rebirth? Just as the environment around us is changing at a dizzying pace, people's emotions continue to change on a daily basis. Its appearance is fragile and fragile, but it is also a thing of beauty. We can feel a strong “connection” from them. The works in this exhibition contain a strong life force that speaks to each viewer about “rebirth and recovery” and “growth and its traces”. The exhibition consists of an installation work that allows visitors to feel the relationship created by the contrast of light and shadow through the space, a glass knot work that signifies wounds and conflicts, repair and destruction, and new beginnings, and a black velvet work that combines softness and strength. These works, which use various methods of expression, will appeal to us from all angles.

 

The artist will be at the gallery on:14 (Sat) December. On the same day, art critic Yasuyuki Nakai will be invited to give a talk event. We hope you will take this opportunity to visit this exhibition.
